Former director of Juventus, Luciano Moggi, assessing the two giant clubs, AC Milan and Inter Milan, had damaged the Italian national team for being too  focused  on foreign players  rather than  orbiting  a young  Italian  players.

Referring to the squad this season, Milan had 14 players blooded Italian. Of these, none have players under the age of 24 years. "Rossoneri" also contributed only two players to the Italian national team, namely Antonio Cassano (28 years) and Andrea Pirlo (31 years).

In Inter worse. None of the original Italian player who became the first team squad members "La Beneamata". Inter also contributed only one player, namely Andrea Ranocchia, to "Gli Azzurri". Another name is Davide Santon, but now he never called again because only a reserve at Inter.

"Italian football has lost a lot of desire and the national team is a symbol of this theory. The quality of Italian football continues to decline and there are no talented young people in this situation," Moggi said. "Napoli, Inter, and Milan is a very good team, but they do not have the players for the national team.
